Boone Library Book Swap - Gently used books will be available at the carnival to swap. There are only a few "rules". To take a book, you must bring a book. Damaged books are not accepted at the swap. The books must be in gently used condition. If you bring hardback books, in excellent condition, they may be set aside to be put in the library for all students to use.

Carnival Information

This is basic information from past carnivals to help plan this year's Spring Carnival. Come join us! We always need help. We start planning this in early January.

Bake Walk

We ask for donations of baked goods for our Bake Walk where we give pieces of cake, cupcakes, cookies or whatever baked goods you'd like to the winners of a traditional cake walk.YUM!

Game Booths

Each teacher signs up for a game booth, ride or food booth and asks that the parents of their students help man the booth throughout the carnival. It's a great way to help out your teacher, the school and your child.

Confetti Eggs / Poster Contests

Every year, we hold a contest to see who can bring in the most confetti eggs. They sell them in the grocery stores at Halloween and in the Spring. The principal, asst principal and some teachers offer to do some crazy things as we reach certain goals. They're very popular at the carnival.
We also hold a poster contest to see who can create the best poster for the carnival. Independent judges decide and award 1st and 2nd place. All entries win tickets.

Rides

We work hard every year to provide a variety of rides such as moon walks, an
obstacle course, a swing ride, a dunk booth, a photo booth and a Quad Bungee Jump to name a few.

Silent Auction

Every year, we hold a silent auction in conjunction with the Spring Carnival. Our sponsors have been very generous in providing us with donations that we can use in our auction. Click here to view the items we will auctioning off this year.

Gift Baskets

We also ask that each classroom create a gift basket in a particular theme which will be sold at the Silent Auction. Some popular themes include sports teams, chocolate and most food baskets. Parents are asked to provide an item or cash donations if they wish for the basket. You can find the list of teacher;s gift baskets by clicking the Silent Auction button.

Vendors

Every year, we invite local vendors to purchase a booth to sell their wares. It creates a very festive environment and makes for lots of fun.
